Johnny teaches woodworking skills, studying trees, wood and their uses. He offers visits around textiles and spinning where children study and work with various fibers and materials . The pupils will learn to spin a thread and weave on a board loom.

During Dave’s school visit, Irish archaeology is animated for the children as they experience an engaging demonstration on domestic and military life during a given historical period as chosen by the school. Approximately 100 artefacts are displayed in the classroom turning the school into a veritable museum for the day!

Visits can be based around around a local site, such as an ogham stone, early church site or ringfort and would include a field trip to the site where possible.
