Steve is a geologist and archaeologist and the co-founder of Dig it Kids – bringing science, history and archaeology to life for kids through hands-on learning, craft and storytelling.

Ruth is a storyteller and author with a particular interest in folklore, traditional crafts and healing plants. Her visits include talks, storytelling sessions, hands-on craft activities using natural materials.

Creative environmental education – Jessica connects children to nature and our environmental impacts through hands on experiences in outdoor spaces, school gardens and workshops in the classroom.

As an established traditional singer, researcher and educator, Fionnuala seeks to encourage both teachers and pupils to engage with their local heritage through songs, folklore, stories and music to gain a deeper awareness and appreciation of our culture and other cultures within our community. Her visits are interactive, informative and engaging.

School visits can cover a broad range of topics from birds to bees, creepy crawlies to trees, and everything in between! Workshops blend interactive slideshows, practical conservation crafts, fun props and outdoor exploration and as with everything we do we aim to keep things simple, fun and sciencey!

David and Cat are marine biologists and divers who use their enthusiasm and knowledge of all things ocean to bring the ocean to land and to life in the classroom and on shore visits!

Known as 'The Seaweed Man,' William's unique teaching style engages students of all ages, fostering a deep connection to nature, particularly the ocean.

Connecting children with their natural world and cultural heritage through engaging and inspiring hands-on activities. Ellie at EOL brings her infectious enthusiasm and love for native fauna and flora to the hearts of children of all ages through workshops and forest school programs, delivered on or off school site.

David's classroom activities include engaging sessions on the tides, identifying marine organisms and talks about living marine animals which David brings into the classroom!

Ian brings practical, environmental and heritage education into schools through organic and wildlife gardening.

An experienced Forest School leader, Veronica values the Forest School ethos as a way for children to learn holistically through regular nature connection. Through hands-on, fun and engaging activities that are led with kindness and sensitivity, children develop a meaningful relationship with the natural world that can last a lifetime.

Margaret is an artist with a passion for the stories hidden in our landscape that describe the sense of place, and our rich mythology, so much of which has been lost through translation. Her workshops allow children to express through creative means, the legends, stories and geography of their local area.

Brenda specialises in Ireland’s native hedgerows, trees and shrubs and would like to bring her lifelong interest in willow and coppice crafts, and hedgerow and woodland produce to your classroom.
