Elaine keeps the children moving while they learn with activities such as rain dances, spiral dances, making clay seed bombs & time travel in a 3d Ogham stone circle form part of her fun filled creative workshops.

Through interactive storytelling and a selection of hands-on activities Ann Gerety Smyth (one half of Creative Ardagh) can bring a range of topics to life. Learning from our mythology, local history and natural heritage the Scéalta Beo (Living Stories) sessions put an emphasis on restoring the balance: building a sense of place, connection to the outdoors and protecting our biodiversity for future generations.

Donna offers interactive and engaging school visits that are designed to encourage children to fully explore and enjoy their archaeological and historical past. Visits promote an inclusive, hands-on, and absorbed learning experience which incorporates discussions, crafts, and activities to share the inspiring wonders of the past with children of all ages.

Helena’s interactive workshops are based on natural crafts, using the fibres and plants that surround us to weave baskets and create fun and functional handmade items.

Úna offers two options: 1) Seed Stories: Exploring autumn trees and seed dispersal 2) Rocks Around Us: Introduction to rocks, minerals and fossils.

Clare is passionate about reconnecting children with nature and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to tackle climate anxiety through positive actions! Discover the REAL zoo of wonderful creatures living all around us – in our flowers, trees and streams and how they depend on each other!

Contact Jesmond for a glimpse into the magical world of butterflies and moths, including the weirdly wild ways butterflies communicate with each other, why butterflies bully and some social caterpillars eat their own kind. Learn why butterflies pretend to be dead, who their enemies are and how long they live.

Engaging and experiential workshops for students about their local woods and the nature under their feet. The heart of nature connection is multifaceted and instilled with story, movement, song, play and Irish and English ID. Visits are tailored to meet the requirements of the SESE Curriculum.

Ciara's passion is to develop our connection to nature. The Forest School ethos that underpins her work is that of child-led play and personal development so learning happens holistically for each child. Activities offered include games, bug safari, nature crafts, using tools like saws and drills and some wild edible foraging, all in the school grounds.

Multidisciplinary visual artist Kelly Hood works with schools to create innovative, invigorating and expressive eco art.

Patrick's nature visits cover everything from school Gardening to exploring the trees, wildflowers, birdlife and insects found locally. He helps children and teachers explore the biodiversity on their doorstep.

Geoff's visits include the following strands: biodiversity, art, maths, geography, English, Irish, music. His lessons begin with engagement, prediction, exploration and show the results.

Dee is a forest school leader and primary school teacher with a keen interest in outdoor activity and nature based learning. Forest school workshops include games, nature art, bush crafts, den building, play and exploration all while connecting with each other and nature throughout the seasons.

From whales to snails and everything in between, Calvin’s visits on Irish wildlife and biodiversity tap into and encourage the innate curiosity all young children have for the world around them.

Colleen is passionate about inspiring children to explore their local area, using tools like interactive maps to give them a bird’s-eye view of their school and surroundings. Through hands-on activities creating stories, she encourages curiosity and creativity.

CuriOcean’s workshops are science based and most importantly, fun! Children will learn and understand how they can help protect the marine environment through hands-on and interactive activities. 'Pollination - How nature makes our fruits and seeds': Introduction to pollination, making the connection between insects and food production through interactive discussions, guided outdoor activities, hands-on flower dissection and creative drawing.

We cover pollination, biodiversity, native tree identification, fresh water animals and seaweeds. We include worksheets, quizzes, hands on outdoor activities and creativity in our workshops.

A fun and interactive way of uncovering the natural world around us and the prehistoric history of Ireland through discovery, fun games, and creative activities. Find out all about the ancient sea creatures that lived long ago and the different creatures that inhabit our seashore today. Learn from local rocks, fossils, and landforms, about Ireland’s ancient past, its earthquakes and volcanoes, and vast mysterious lands where dinosaurs once roamed. We’ll leave no stone unturned!

As a librarian and author of nine books Carmel is passionate about restoring lesser-known people and events to their rightful place in Irish History. Her workshops include engaging story time in both languages based on her four picture books for younger children and illustrated talks with worksheets to complement the Irish History sessions.

Tony's visits are aimed at getting children into the outdoors to discover the natural world surrounding their school and locality. Visits are fun, interactive and suitable for all classes and age groups.

Fun, fact filled, interactive virtual sessions are delivered, exploring biodiversity and what it does for us, what is a food web, how to make one and a separate session on native Irish birds.

Aengus explores biodiversity, what it is, why we should care and how we can help in a range of different workshops.

Liam is an experienced historian who specialises in inspiring local people of all ages to look at the stories of their localities with fresh eyes. Using traditional and modern sources he shows how the past is relevant to the present.
