Heritage in Schools

We look forward to welcoming over 600 children and their teachers to our HQ garden for this year's Archaeology Day.

Workshop programme

Check out our programme to discover the archaeology taster sessions we’ll be offering on the day. Children will enjoy hands-on activities led by our Heritage in Schools specialists, exploring the fascinating worlds of archaeology, medieval customs, and ancient weaponry.

We are now fully booked and unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional schools.

European Archaeology Days are coordinated in Europe by the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP) and in Ireland, by the Heritage Council.
