Wells House and Gardens

Wells House hosts school tours to explore the personal lives of those who worked in the house, nature walks to explore the biodiversity of our forests and the re-wilding of our wetlands area, and animal encounters to learn about the habits, habitats and care of our small animals.

Wells House and Gardens is a Grade 1 listed, Tudor-Gothic country house, situated between Gorey and Wexford towns. At Wells House, we hold close our values of Quality, Commitment and Heritage. We offer groups a space where nature and history create the backdrop for lifelong memories. The Estate boasts over 400 years of history and currently amounts to 450 acres, including 100 acres of Woodlands & Gardens and a working farm on the grounds.

For school groups, we offer an interactive day out with our woodland walks, playground and animal farm. Additionally, Wells House hosts school tours with child-focused house tours to explore the personal lives of those who worked in the House, nature walks to explore the biodiversity of our forests and the re-wilding of our wetlands area, and animal encounters to learn about the habits, habitats and care of our small animals.

Wells House is open from mid-March through the end of September, 7 days per week.
