Heritage in Schools Specialists - networking days 2025
School's out so our hardworking Heritage in Schools Specialists had time to enjoy our annual networking days recently.
Our regional events offer fantastic opportunities for our Specialists to connect, collaborate, and build relationships with fellow Specialists and the Heritage in Schools team. Over the week we had 16 workshops delivered by our Heritage in Schools Specialists as well as some guest speakers: Kate Chandler, National Biodiversity Data Centre (Pollinator Lesson Plans for Schools); Jennifer Moore, Royal Irish Academy (Irish Historic Towns Atlas) and Leif Barry, OPW (Citizen Science).
We are grateful to all who took part and to the wonderful venues that hosted us so warmly: Brigit's Garden in Galway, the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre, and the Tramore Coastguard Cultural Centre.
