Burren Nature Sanctuary
The Burren Nature Sanctuary in Kinvara, Co. Galway is located on a 50acre organic farm and is an ideal setting to introduce children to the natural and cultural heritage of the wonderful Burren landscape.
The tour is an exploration of the mile long looped nature trail through biodiverse ash and hazel woodland and wildflower meadows. The shattered limestone pavement and rare tidal turlough (a seasonal lake that appears twice a day) introduce children to Burren geology.
