Ciara's passion is to develop our connection to nature. The Forest School ethos that underpins her work is that of child-led play and personal development so learning happens holistically for each child. As a librarian and author of nine books Carmel is passionate about restoring lesser-known people and events to their rightful place in Irish History. Her workshops include engaging story time in both languages based on her four picture books for younger children and illustrated talks with worksheets to complement the Irish History sessions.

Tony's visits are aimed at getting children into the outdoors to discover the natural world surrounding their school and locality. Visits are fun, interactive and suitable for all classes and age groups.

Aengus explores biodiversity, what it is, why we should care and how we can help in a range of different workshops.

Liam is an experienced historian who specialises in inspiring local people of all ages to look at the stories of their localities with fresh eyes. Using traditional and modern sources he shows how the past is relevant to the present.

Martina offers a wide range of nature activities and experiences, preferably outdoors, either on the school grounds or in a nearby habitat, like a forest, hedgerow or bogland. She gained her experience in offering popular summer nature camps for primary school children in South Sligo.

Angie is a passionate and highly experienced ‘forest school leader’ who firmly believes in nature pedagogy. Angie feels that connecting with nature and encouraging student led learning in the outdoors is of great importance in this increasingly digital age.

Cork Jewish history, music and culture – a participatory musical workshop introducing the history of Cork’s Jewish communities over the last 120 years, from their origins in Lithuania to today. Festivals, music, foods, songs, dances and traditions.

Aileen delivers workshops in traditional Irish singing. During her visits, children are introduced to a broad range of traditional Irish songs - love songs, local songs, songs of war and songs of complete nonsense!
