Book in-person visit

Ted has been teaching children in Cork about the importance of our native trees and how to grow them for over 30 years.

On a visit from Ted, the children examine the origins, functions and benefits of Ireland's diverse plant and tree life - from our primitive ferns to the Great Oak. A field-trip to a woodland, water course, holy well, hedgerow or an old graveyard introduces the children to the variety of plant species and habitats that we have in Ireland.

Ted assists schools in the development of a school-garden or wooded area where the children learn about planting trees which are provided from Ted's nursery stock.

Ted offers guided tours of Macroom's historic Castle Demesne for senior classes.
