Jesmond Harding is the author of two books, “Discovering Irish Butterflies & their Habitats” published in 2008 and "The Irish Butterfly Book" published in 2021. He featured in the third series of “Living the Wildlife” (episode 2) and “The Burren: Heart of Stone” (episode 1). He is Conservation Officer for Butterfly Conservation Ireland and is writing and editing the Ireland Butterfly Atlas 2017-2021.

'Pollination - How nature makes our fruits and seeds': Introduction to pollination, making the connection between insects and food production through interactive discussions, guided outdoor activities, hands-on flower dissection and creative drawing.

We cover pollination, biodiversity, native tree identification, fresh water animals and seaweeds. We include worksheets, quizzes, hands on outdoor activities and creativity in our workshops.

Angie is a passionate and highly experienced ‘forest school leader’ who firmly believes in nature pedagogy. Angie feels that connecting with nature and encouraging student led learning in the outdoors is of great importance in this increasingly digital age.

Cork Jewish history, music and culture – a participatory musical workshop introducing the history of Cork’s Jewish communities over the last 120 years, from their origins in Lithuania to today. Festivals, music, foods, songs, dances and traditions.

Aileen delivers workshops in traditional Irish singing. During her visits, children are introduced to a broad range of traditional Irish songs - love songs, local songs, songs of war and songs of complete nonsense!

By investigating the materials, technology and influences of everyday architecture, artist Alison Mac Cormaic explores the built heritage in your village, town, city or school. Workshop are coordinated from a range of research, drawing, design and construction activities to match the style and features of your local buildings.

Paddy covers local built and natural heritage. School gardening is his speciality.
