Retired principal of Gaelscoil Bhríde, Séamus introduces the children to the story of their own place and assists them in designing an educational trail for the school, which incorporates many strands from the history, geography and science curricula.

Séamus will discuss the teacher’s concept of the locality and their preferred methods of presentation before the workshop. Ar ndóigh, beidh fáilte ar Leith roimh ghnó trí Ghaeilge.

Séamus has been delivering hands-on heritage and nature-study workshops to primary school teachers for decades through professional development courses at both Cabra Wetlands Interpretative Centre and Tipperary Education Centre.
