Leif is an environmental scientist and has been delivering workshops and presentations on biodiversity for over 10 years. He believes that learning should be fun for everyone involved and anyone can become a citizen scientist.
Leif has a particular interest in pollinators and often delivers workshops on the many species that make up our pollinators.
He also delivers workshops on all the green flag themes, dragonflies, butterflies, wildflowers and trees.
Pupils can be brought outside to learn how to identify the trees, plants, birds and insects that are living in the hedgerows, fields and woods near your school.
"Leif was brilliant, really calm and competent as a guide for children. He was brilliant at catching the pollinators and giving children a chance to see them up close and without fear. Really enjoyed his workshops. He was also very generous with his ideas and input into some school activities we are doing at present."
"Leif was a fantastic heritage expert. He worked with children from all classes in our school. His knowledge and attention to his work was exceptional. He was highly prepared and organised in advance of the visit. He varied the content of his lessons for different class levels and made it suitable and interactive for all. I would highly recommend him to other schools and classes."
"The children really enjoyed learning about plants and animals with Leif. Leif answered all their questions and they are much more interested in the biodiversity after the visit."
