Eleanor is a Marine Biologist who has lots of experience delivering workshops to children of all ages.

Eleanor offers several workshop options designed with hands on activities to get students engaged in their local environments. Topics include the marine environment, seashore ecology, marine biodiversity, freshwater ecology, small stream management, native Biodiversity, Irish wildlife, farming heritage and environmental conservation.

Visits can be arranged to the schools and also to suitable local outdoor locations. Farm visits to Gortnacille open farm are available to schools close enough to travel and seashore safaris can be organised to your local beaches. 

Classes can be indoors if weather demands but will preferably be outdoors. All topics can be tailored to suit class sizes, time availability and specific school requirements. The content is also adjusted to apply to local heritage and environment creating more of a place connection for the students.
