Colm's visits highlight the beauty and diversity of local plant and animal life for the children. He assists the children in improving the school garden through the development of flower and herb beds, tree-planting and the installation of bird feeders.

Colm also likes to bring the class on local nature trails or to study the biodiversity at a nearby habitat. He has an exciting collection of specimens for the children to handle and discuss including a real-life beehive! Activities relevant to the changing weather also assist the children in learning about the different seasons. Colm can tailor his visits to suit the particular needs of a class-group or school. Colm is an experienced primary school teacher who specialises in environmental education.
