Ciara’s workshops are aimed at developing a deep nature connection for the children who participate. This helps to ensure that they learn to appreciate all the wonderful aspects that our natural heritage has to offer and as a result, learn to love, respect and protect it. Ciara works in a child-led fashion which develops, for the children,  a deep connection with nature and sense of place in nature for them.

Ciara is a qualified Forest School Leader and where possible would like to conduct the workshops in a  suitable local woodland area. Examples of activities :

  1. Nature –awareness games, for example, Eagle-Eye, Bat and Moth, Find your Tree  etc

  2. Nature-based crafts, for example, Weaving with Ivy, Making dream catchers and crowns, making nests, etc

  3. Activities to expand the senses, for example, blind folded exercises and games, Sit-Spot, Scavenger hunts etc
